Ian McLeod Award

The Ian McLeod Awards exist to support projects which will promote the development of Classical Studies in NSW. The amount awarded to successful applicants is usually up to $2,000. Applicants must be current financial members of CANSW.

Previous awards were approved for the following projects:

• Subsidise a magazine issue on a relevant theme
• Support Latin in primary schools scheme
• Co-ordinate project to restore classical languages to the National Curriculum
• Provide AV equipment in an adult education setting
• Support the Teaching Classical Languages Symposium 2022
• Support the Pompeii Cast Project 2024
